Kala Tarang brings to you a collection of clothes and dohars (light blankets) for the little ones made by the artisans of Dastkar Ranthambore (Rajasthan, India)

Dastkar Ranthambhore is a Non-Profit Organisation that provides alternative livelihoods to women from families displaced by the formation of the Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve.

The Project was founded in the year 1990 on the initiative of Dastkar Delhi and Ranthambhore Foundation in Rajasthan. In 2004, the project got registered as a separate organization with some of the village women as Directors, thus giving them control over the organization.

From a small group of 15 in 1990, Dastkar Ranthambore has grown to more than 500 today. Its products ranging from clothes and accessories to home furnishings with its trademark animal motifs are coveted items in all Dastkar exhibitions in India.
